Outpatient Surgery Center

Just a few years ago, surgery could mean many days in the hospital and an extended recovery time. With today's technology, more and more surgeries can successfully be done on an outpatient basis. Waiting time for both patients and their families is substantially less than it would be in a hospital, and it is much more convenient because all services are available at the Center and convenient parking is provided.

More than 25,000 patients of all ages have been treated at the Center since its opening.

About Paris Regional Medical Center's Outpatient Surgery Center
The surgical center, located on the PRMC North Campus,  houses large operating rooms and a cystoscopy room, as well as postoperative and preoperative areas. The facility is equipped with the same state-of-the-art safety and emergency equipment found in all modern hospitals, including emergency generators that can provide electrical power to the building in case of a power outage.

Our preoperative and postoperative areas were designed to allow each patient a high level of comfort and privacy while knowing that our healthcare professionals are there to monitor and provide the best care for the patient.

Visitors and Family
We realize that quality healthcare means to care not only for our patients, but also for their families. Everyone from the nurses and technical staff to our clerical and administrative staff make our visitors' stays as pleasant as possible. Our spacious and airy waiting area is large enough to provide everyone with enough room to be comfortable.

The Outpatient Surgery Center is state-licensed, Medicare-certified and ICAHO-accredited. The Center accepts most health insurance, including Medicare and Medicaid.
