Food Service

The Food & Nutrition Services Department hopes your stay with PRMC will be as pleasant as possible. Wholesome, nutritious, and well-balanced meals are an important part of your treatment and recovery. We are here to provide you with the best meals and service possible, within the restrictions of the diet your physician has prescribed for you.

Registered Dietitians
Registered dietitians are the nutrition experts. If you have any questions about the diet your physician has prescribed for you, about healthy eating habits or nutrition in general, please dial ext. 3690 or 3522 from a hospital telephone.

South Campus Cafeteria
The South Campus cafeteria is located on the 2nd floor. Breakfast is served in the cafeteria Monday- Friday beginning at 7:30 a.m. and ending at 9:00 a.m. Lunch is served in the cafeteria Monday-Friday beginning at 11:00 a.m. and ending at 1:00 p.m. The cafeteria is not open on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. The dining room and vending areas are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

If a family member or friend would like to eat in your room with you, they are invited to come to the cafeteria and purchase the meal of their choice. Carry-out containers are available.

North Campus Gift Shop
The Gift Shop is located on the first floor. Lunch is served in the gift shop Monday-Friday beginning at 11:00 a.m. and ending at 1:00 p.m. The Gift Shop is closed on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

Vending Areas
Vending machines for snacks and beverages are located on both the North and South campus. These machines are accessible 24 hours a day. There are also beverage vending machines located throughout both campuses.
