
Paris Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce the addition of anesthesiologist Jarrott Grace, M.D., to the medical staff.
Dr. Grace comes to Paris from Houston, where he was a staff anesthesiologist at Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital.
A Texas native, Dr. Grace earned his Bachelor of Science from Texas Tech University and his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Texas, Houston Health Science Center, where he also completed an internship and residency in anesthesiology. His residency was based at Memorial Hermann Hospital.
Dr. Grace is a member of several professional organizations including the Texas Society of Anesthesiologists, American Society of Anesthesiologists, American Medical Association and Texas Medical Association.
An avid outdoorsman, Dr. Grace enjoys competing in triathlons, skiing, camping, fishing and playing golf.
What is an Anesthesiologist? An anesthesiologist is a medical doctor trained to administer anesthesia and manage the medical care of patients before, during and after surgery. A vital member of any hospital’s surgery team, an anesthesiologist has the critical responsibility for a patient’s welfare when he or she undergoes anesthesia. Anesthesiologists also administer medications to reduce pain caused by a medical condition or injury.
